Lymphogammagraphy is a molecular imaging diagnostic test based on the ability to detect a certain radiopharmaceutical in a specific tissue. Through this exploration, we obtain important morphological and functional information that allows us to identify the lymphatic drainage territory and thus locate the sentinel node and pinpoint its exact location, to facilitate its subsequent identification during surgery.
